Ook al is het in Zuid-Afrika hartje zomer, toch had Juanite een beetje last van de donkere dagen voor Kerst. Omdat ze al 65 is, kreeg ze ineens twijfels over hoe lang ze dit werk nog vol kan houden. Ook omdat het financieel soms erg lastig is om alle eindjes aan elkaar te knopen. Over het Sunshine House hoeft zij zich geen zorgen te maken, maar er zijn nog zo veel andere zaken die geregeld moeten worden. Haar twijfel verwoordde ze in een gebed. Hier haar reactie op ons Kerstnieuws:

God says he answers prayers before we even put them into words and this is so true because by the end of the year I was already feeling the benefits of His intervention and right this moment I am so positive about the future, mine and the Projects, that I KNOW everything will work out.         Your news about the financial ' bonus' which will come is more evidence of God's intervention - Please can you say a HUGE Thank You to EVERYONE who has contributed so generously to our work, especially the training prevention.
